how are you doing? Hopefully you are all okay.

Well, i am just in the progress of writing the reviews about our stay in your fantastic hotel in february 2011 for Holidaycheck and Tripadvisor (sorry, i know i am a little bit late with this).

And you won`t believe - because we enjoyed our stay so much and we were thinking about going back to Kenya for the great migration (usually the past stay should be the last for some time because of family plannings) we booked another stay in your lovely place for September/October 2011.

Usually we are taking one hotel before and another one after Safari (for the difference) - for the next trip we only booked to stay in your place.

We cannot thank you enough for the fantastic time we had. I must tell you, that first we have not be sure what to expect after our first stay in 2006 at the Diani Reef. Well, it was really great. The deluxe rooms are lovely and we decided to took one deluxe in september for the time before our safari, but we thought it might be an idea to test the junior suite, so we booked one for the time after our safari in october. So we are really excited what to expect.

The food is delicious - great choice and also very good quality, the lovely staff and so many small nice things which made our stay so comfortable and unforgetable. Also most of the staff (not fair to name special people, because all are lovely, but Albert is doing an excellent job and he will go his way, we hope to see him and the others in september again, Doreen, Susann, Maryam, Faith - who really kept small, but for us important, things in her mind and made the stay also very nice, Alois from the pool area whom we know from his past time at the sun n sand and was a nice pleasure for us to meet him again, William and so many more) were so great.

You are having still the best and most comfortabel sunloungers and it is a great idea with the umbrellas - to take care of peoples head...

Also the idea with the "laundry suitcase" - great...

The treatment at the Spa - wow, really fantastic.

You see, sometimes it is very good to put your expectations not so high, but what we experienced in february topped it in any way.

We are not so easy guests and also sometimes we check how responsible people react on certain things - my compliments - great work. You have been so patient and gave one the feeling to be something special - fantastic. Nothing was too much for you and no question or requirement was too much for you and your team.

We have now some hotels to compare (IOBC, Leopard, Leisure Lodge, Southern and Papillon at the south coast, Severin Sea Lodge, Sun n Sand and Sandies Tropical Village, also Chale Island) but you are our number one.

We want to say a hudge asante sana and you are all doing a great job, but you can be really proud of your efforts - excellent work.

Avin,Albert,Mustafa and Ashok were simply great to work with and were  extremely helpful  and cooperative. All the reception  staff were great too!!We had  cheerful and co operative cleaners as well. Amazing security staff…Fredrick at the  Zebra Lounge  and Paul the waiter  made our experience lively and great. Generally ,all the staff in the catering dept. were lovely. ’Avin’ is the person we would say  we ‘take off our hats’ to. He deserves  more  than  a pat on his back for all  the hard work he did and remaining calm and polite throughout the week and even during  the functions. We must say, that the persons whose name mentioned here are simply THE BEST! They re VERY POLITE and made  our working experience great. As a hotel ,lovely place.
