Firstly, I apologise in not writing to you sooner since we returned home from our holiday to your hotel at Diani Reef Beach.
It is important to express our very sincere thanks to yourself and the staff throughout the 2 weeks in Kenya. Your intention to ensure my wife and I would be able to have a memorable dinner and celebration of our 40th Wedding Anniversary is testament of service to a customer in the highest order, and I was truly very grateful due to the following:
Since 1968 I have travelled to many parts of the World with some of the best hotels being booked by The Ford Motor Co's Rally Department, but as you may remember, I never got to Kenya for the East African Safari Rally, and I now understand why they all voiced this event as "the best place to go".
Further, my wife prefers to holiday to the west of the UK, consequently we have enjoyed many good vacations to different parts of the United States since 1993, and also have friends living there. I decided some two years ago we would celebrate our 40th somewhere completely different but I know it would be difficult convincing my wife to go East!
You and your staff made a happy couple, very very happy throughout the stay and my wife insists we return in March 2013 in order to celebrate her 65th birthday.
I certainly look forward to that and wish you well with your endeavours at a wonderful hotel.
